Role Of This Position

The Community Operations Support Officer is responsible for:
  • Researching and formulating draft responses for ministerial briefings and parliamentary questions to a wide range of Community Justice Services issues.
  • Regular liaison with internal and external stakeholder relations for the purpose of maintaining networks required to inform correspondence.
  • Provide directorate support with the researching and the compilation of information for relevant annual reports and the Minister’s Office comment papers.
  • Compiles and distributes performance reports of CJS against relevant standards.
  • Ensures ministerial and parliamentary queries are handled in accordance with established standards, protocols and timeframes within set timeframes.
  • Assist with the development and compilation of general correspondence on behalf of the directorate.

The Project Officer is responsible for:

  • Provides project management and policy services in respect to specific strategies or initiatives of the Community Justice Services Directorate.
  • Conducts research and analysis and recommends options to address issues and meet the organisational needs of Community Justice Services.
  • Coordinates and compiles responses for statistical information and Directorate reports and audits.
  • Drafts correspondence and briefings for the Directorate.
